One of my favourite bathroom design companies, Scarabeo, has just completed another successful show at ISH 2015. In addition to its release of the Mizu ceramic washbasins, designed by Emo design (which we featured here), the company released two new washbasin designs, each with its own unique style.
Arco is a recessed washbasin, available in two sizes, 60 or 80 cm, which is ideal for many configurations and uses. With its slightly arched lines (which give the product its name), the lowered inner surface and the extremely thin edge, the washbasin is elegant and light and ideal for both a classic and designer setting. The wide and deep basin reflects the latest trends in bathroom design and allows it to be used not only as a washbasin, but also as a sink to wash clothing – if required. The shape of the washbasin, with its slightly convex edge, emphasises the design of the product and allows it to be partly recessed and appear lighter.
The Fuji collection, also by Emo design, consists of ceramic washbasin and mirror. The design language interprets the continuous flow of the water through convex lines which are resolved into soft surfaces. Presented for the first time at the last International Bathroom Show (2014) in the surface and suspended versions, Fuji was presented at ISH 2015 in its new recessed version, offering a further choice to satisfy all tastes or needs.
