2016 bathroom trends from Maison Valentia

Maison Valentia unveils its 2016 bathroom trends ahead of its participation in Maison & Objet Paris (22-26 Jan 2016).

Lapiaz Bathtub

lapiaz-bathtub-1Lapiaz is a French word that describes the typical karst formations produced by surface dissolution of limestone or dolomite rocks. The formations can also be caused by freezing and thawing in cold climates. The Lapiaz bathtub is so called because its unique exterior pays homage to this visually interesting natural phenomenon.

The polished brass details, mirrored sides and lacquer finish give the luxury bath a designer touch which embodies the beauty of this statement piece. Lapiaz bathtub measures 197cm (w) x 93cm (d) x 70cm (h).

It is made from silver leaf with a shade of translucent black, high gloss varnish and measures 215cm (w) x 91.5cm (d) x 70cm (h).
