Axor Universal Accessories

The Axor Universal Accessories collection was lauded as an “elegant and harmonious system for bathrooms and kitchens” at the recent German Design Awards held in Frankfurt.

Axor was recognised in the Bath & Wellness category by an international panels of experts who evaluated 3400 entered products in their mission to discover, present and distinguish unique design trends. The best 15 design products in each category were selected as winners.

The Axor Universal Accessories collection is a comprehensive system of accessories, developed jointly with Axor’s longstanding design partner Antonio Citterio. The jury praised the range, which consists of 12 products, as “an elegant, harmonious system with beautiful features and great attention to detail – modular, functional and universal”.

The Axor Universal Accessories collection is a system consisting of various bars, handles and shelf elements which features a minimalist design and can be combined with other Axor collections. The accessories can be used individually or as a complete system for the bathroom or kitchen.

The German Design Award is an international accolade awarded by the German Design Council. Initiated in 2012, the German Design Award is among the most distinguished design competitions in the world and is held in high esteem among professionals within the industry as well as consumers. The selection process for winners is stringent with a unique nomination system to ensure that only products and communication design services that truly demonstrate outstanding design quality are invited to participate.
