Let’s talk about Salone del Mobile.Milano

By now, most of you would have heard about Salone del Mobile.Milano, the world’s most highly-regarded design show, held in the magical city of Milan.

Salone del Mobile.Milano is held every year with sub-sections held either annually or biennially. The main furniture exhibition and furnishing accessories exhibition is held every year, as are SaloneSatellite and S.Project, but there are a range of internal exhibitions which are held biennially.

So, let’s look at what’s going to be at the show in April 2024.

Eurocucina (and FTK)

Salone del Mobile.MilanoEurocucina was launched in 1974 and is the leading showcase for high-end kitchens from around the world. The 2024 show represents the 23rd edition of the exhibition with FTK (Technology for the Kitchen – in other words, appliances) running as a collateral event.

Within the halls, more than 82 companies within 16,000m² will showcase contemporary design, technological innovation, next generation performance, energy efficiency and ease of use. The designs represent society’s changing emphasis on the kitchen as a domestic hub, far from the simply-functional spaces of the past, and focus on these rooms as places for conviviality and socialising.

FTK features more than 39 exhibitors across 10,500m² of exhibition space all displaying an overview of the latest technologies for the built-in domestic appliance market with models, prototypes and concepts to inspire and delight.

Salone Bagno

Salone del Mobile.MilanoAKA The International Bathroom Exhibition, Salone Bagno was launched in 2003 as a sub-section of the larger show but became an exhibition in its own right in 2006. This reflects the revolution of the bathroom and the increased focus on this room as a dedicated sanctuary for relaxation and wellness.

More than 172 exhibitors will fill an area of 17,000m² showcasing an array of top-quality good catering for not only high-performance products, but also with a major focus on sustainability, efficiency and energy saving.
