The new Cielo Enjoy collection is a fresh, young, dynamic design for the company by internationally renowned designer Karim Rashid.
The name deftly expresses the essence of the idea inspiring the multifaceted designer Karim Rashid in his design for the Cielo Enjoy collection. Cielo is a leading maker of ceramic bathroom furnishings, offering a range of products, a cut above for the company’s fully artisanal production process, quality design, use of select materials and fine details.
The Enjoy range is characterised by the extensiveness of its collection and color range. Multiple versions of its washbasins and sanitary fixtures make this proposal highly versatile for bathrooms, including ones of limited proportions. It includes three versions of rectangular countertop washbasins (L 50-60-70 cm); two semi-recessed – round, 40 cm diameter, and square with rounded edges (L 40 cm); and three undermount washbasins – round with 36 diameter, oval (L 48 cm) and rectangular (L 48 cm).
In the Cielo Enjoy collection, the traditional floor-mounted toilet is joined by two wall-hung toilets, one using Keep Clean, an exclusive new flushing system for practical use and easy cleaning. The bowl’s distinctive feature is lacking a flushing rim, which lets the water flow freely to effectively wash the surface. The entire bowl can be quickly sanitised with one simple action.
Enjoy’s design is given a style boost by the original “Terre di Cielo” color line with 12 colors and textures inspired by nature: Basalt, Frost, Pumice, Talcum, Cacao, Tobacco, Sandstone, Tuff, Moss, Sage, Agave, and Silt. Cielo developed this line to introduce new colors through a process of experimentation that strove to understand the true essence and origin of color. The company investigated color’s relationship with nature, its role in architecture and how it is expressed in ceramic pieces.
The collection’s washbasins feature the use of Extrà Ceramic, Cielo’s world’s thinnest colored ceramic, only 5-mm. This unprecedented production technique creates a unique, distinctive material, whose ultra-thinness greatly enhances the pieces’ functionality and design. Extrà Ceramic came from Cielo’s dedication to research and development.
