Released at this year’s iSalone event in Milan is the new single-lever Supernova mixer from Dornbracht, added to extend the Supernova tap series. This new lever mixer features a refined design language with the lever at the side for easier operation.
With product concept and design by Signer Design and creative direction from Mike Meiré, the new single-lever Supernova mixer extends and enhances the Supernova series which was originally launched in 2009.
The Supernova series is renowned for its high-quality, sculptural finish making it perfect for a contemporary bathroom. The series’ facets and polygonal surfaces are reminiscent of a precision-worked crystal that reflects light and any surrounding objects.
The new single-lever basin mixer emphasises the striking geometry and elegance of the series. Refining the body and placing the lever at the side makes the fitting seem even more ornamental, at the same time as making it easier to use. The new single-lever mixer is available with or without a pop-up waste.
There are more than 60 products in total in the range offered by the Supernova series. There are single-lever mixers and three-hole fittings, as well as two cascade spouts for wall and deck mounting. An extensive selection of accessories rounds off the range. The addition to the range, like all the Supernova series, is available in polished chrome and champagne finishes.
The Sieger Design creation Supernova won the “Good Design Award“ (2009) and the “iF product design award“ (2010). Its futuristic and extravagant appearance sets a rather special tone, whether in high-quality private bathrooms or in luxury hotels.
