Inspired by nature: with a warm mist of water droplets in mind, bathroom specialist Hansgrohe developed the new PowderRain spray which feels like a warm summer rain. The innovative PowderRain spray is featured in a new Hansgrohe range of Raindance showerheads and continues the success story of its popular handheld and overhead showers.
PowderRain envelops the body in a warm protective cloak of water, a sensation achieved through its extremely fine spray of micro droplets. The key to this innovation lies in the nozzles, each of which has to be precisely positioned on the spray disc to achieve the desired effect.
In this newly developed micro spray technology, a single PowderRain jet is much finer than conventional shower jets; instead of only one spray outlet per nozzle, PowderRain has six fine openings that disperse the spray into thousands of micro droplets thanks to its sophisticated technology. These micro droplets are so light and soft that they fall and moisten the skin almost imperceptibly. The individual jets are also positioned more closely together, moistening the skin even more effectively.
Thanks to its fine micro droplets, PowderRain moistens the skin without bouncing off, thus minimising splashing. This makes it much easier to keep the shower area clean and is a great advantage in open showers.
With PowderRain, experts in Hansgrohe’s new sound laboratory succeeded in lowering sounds in the shower by 20 percent. The new Raindance Select S 120 P handheld showers with PowderRain are soothing and whisper quiet, thus also contributing acoustically to an experience of complete relaxation.
PowderRain is featured for the first time in the hansgrohe Raindance Select S 120 handheld shower, indicated by the initial “P”. This hand shower has three spray modes: Rain, Whirl Air and PowderRain. Thanks to its full rain-like shower spray, Rain is the ideal spray mode for everyday showering routines. Whirl is a concentrated massage jet that stimulates and energises muscles and skin. With its soft micro droplets, PowderRain delivers a deeply relaxing and pleasurable experience. The large Select button on the shower handle makes it extremely easy to switch spray modes.
