The judges loved the moody ambiance of this striking kitchen, and commended the designer on a wonderful reinvention of the existing space. The beautifully laid out design resulted in a flowing, functional kitchen for this family of four, with the flexibility to cater for the changing dynamics of the family as the children grow. The kitchen is expertly detailed, and an aesthetic delight.
Designer Small Kitchens Vic/Tas
Winner – Patricia La Torre CKD Au
Sponsored by Lincoln Sentry
The designer played with rich colours and decadent detailing in this small kitchen, but it’s the flourishing curves that take centre stage with a theatrical nod to the Art Deco era. From the leather-finished stone oval benchtop perched upon bright chrome curved legs to the gently curving shelving detail, cylindrical rangehood and glamorous circular pendants, the designer has used curves to great effect.
Designer Medium Kitchens Vic/Tas
Winner – Olivia Cirocco (GIA Bathrooms & Kitchens)
Sponsored by Lincoln Sentry
The designer has carefully considered every nook and cranny in this lovely, light-filled kitchen. With ample storage, well-defined cooking and prep zones and an inbuilt dining area perfect for the unit of five, the kitchen is both functional and family-friendly. Herringbone tiling adds movement and interest in this mostly white and grey kitchen, making the room as pretty as it is practical.
Designer Large Kitchens Vic/Tas
Winner – Jenefer Gordon CKD Au, CBD Au (Eat Bathe Live)

Deep navy blue and classic Carrara marble are a perfect pair in this good-looking kitchen, with brass handles bringing just enough bling to a very stately space. Spotted gum features add warmth and natural appeal to the hub of this family home, while very thoughtful planning and design ensures the kitchen will accommodate both parents and children for many years.
Bathroom Designer of the Year Vic/Tas
Winner – Olivia Cirocco (GIA Bathrooms & Kitchens)
Sponsored by E&S Trading
The judges loved every detail of this perfectly executed design, in which an un-used retreat, small walk-in robe and dinky bathroom were transformed into a magnificent master suite. They loved the sophisticated and sensitive finishes: from the striking black wenge vanity to the luxurious honed Calacatta feature tiles, to the black and white counter basins and matt black tapware, they said the designer had produced a well-appointed room that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Designer Small Bathrooms Vic/Tas
Winner – Olivia Cirocco (GIA Bathrooms & Kitchens)
Sponsored by E&S Trading
A large freestanding bath was a ‘must-have’ for the clients, and some creative planning was required in order to accommodate it. The designer successfully reconfigured the existing space to house this hero bath, along with the required toilet, shower and double vanity. A light grey chevron tile is a design delight, and the perfect backdrop for beautiful black detailing in tapware and accessories.
Designer Large Bathrooms Vic/Tas
Winner – Olivia Cirocco (GIA Bathrooms & Kitchens)

An existing un-used retreat, dinky walk-in robe and ensuite were transformed into a magnificent master suite in this winning design. A black wenge vanity is the hero of the room, with honed Calacatta feature tiles adding more than a little luxe. Black and white counter basins make a statement, too, and matt black tapware is the perfect finishing touch.
