December 2018 saw the grand opening of the Rawsons Bathroom new showroom in an exciting joint project with ABEY and Cosentino. The new showroom is the result of many years of planning which started two years ago when the house adjacent to the company’s Plympton showroom was acquired.
The goal was to create a special bathroom showroom to showcase ABEY brands including Gessi, Gareth Ashton and Schock in a non-competing environment, as well as South Australia’s first Weber BBQ concept store. A range of Cosentino products including Silestone, Dekton and Sensa provide the perfect backdrop for these stunning products.
Rawsons Electrical was established in 1946 and became Rawsons Appliances more than 30 years ago. It quickly became the destination showroom for high-end European kitchen and laundry appliances in South Australia.
Today the company is the exclusive reseller of Gessi products in South Australia such as the beautiful 316 range and the soon-to-be-released Inciso, designed by David Rockwell and launched last year at Salone del Mobile.Milano.
The showroom features a wide range of working displays of showers, toilets and tapware. Gessi products on display include 316, Cono, Goccia, Rettangolo, RettangoloK and Elegenza. It has become a hub and meeting point for a wide range of designers, architects and other industry specifiers who appreciate the dedicated selection space.
