Fisher & Paykel’s new range of Touchscreen Ovens have guided cooking that removes the guesswork for home chefs, so they can feel confident of producing delicious cuisine. The 16 oven functions are suited for all types of cooking from weekday convenience to weekend gourmet, and helps deliver perfect results every time.

The guided cooking technology allow users to cook by ingredient, method or recipe. The ovens are programmed with a wide range of recipes, from entrées to desserts, and the high-resolution digital interface gives step-by-step instructions, including precise measures, cooking times and temperatures. Helpful tips are also provided for different food types, as well as shelf positions, cookware and accessories.

By selecting a recipe, the oven will automatically set the cooking mode, temperature and time. Each cooking function has been tailored, tested, tweaked and perfected for mouth-watering dishes, and a food probe accurately monitors cooking in real time, giving home chefs added control. They can follow the automatic settings and prompts to the letter or use their new-found confidence to branch out and create a dish with their own signature twist.

Using the programmed recipes and settings, caper butter salmon on Fan Grill and spiced lamb tagine on Slow Cook will melt in the mouth. Herb falafel on the Air Fry function will bring out its fresh flavour, whilst being a heathy alternative to deep frying. Steamed bao will be soft and cloud-like, starting on the Steam Proof function and then automatically switching to Steam. For dessert, the Pastry Bake function means peach galette is always a delicious farmhouse pie, and orange poppyseed cake on Bake is moist and delicately flavoured.

The generous size of the oven allows several dishes to be cooked at once using multiple shelves, with the AeroTech™ technology circulating heat evenly and precisely throughout the oven to ensure a consistent temperature for all dishes at every stage of cooking. Pyrolytic self-cleaning technology makes ongoing maintenance an easy process. It breaks down food residue at a very high temperature, leaving a light ash that is removable with a damp cloth.
