Welcome to the TKBB Summer Series – even though we’re on a break, it’s a great opportunity to stay in touch and check out some of the top stories you may have missed from the last year.
Let’s get going with a look at our most popular organisation and systems articles.
FurnSpin from Hettich premiers at Interzum 2023
Hettich’s innovate FurnSpin fitting reinvents the use of storage space and puts a creative new spin on furniture design. Open doors and flaps no longer intrude into the room or get in the way of accessing items inside – the cabinetry body moves with effortless ease as a stylish turn reveals the contents.
Revealed at Interzum, FurnSpin by Hettich was also awarded a Best of the Best Award in the Function & Components category at the Interzum 2023 Awards.
Protek Bigfoot modular system
Maximising indoor space with clever design solutions; this is the Protek Bigfoot® modular system that turns walls into furniture components.
The patented Protek Bigfoot® system transforms interior spaces with its innovative functions within the collection of retractable sliding modular units and furnishing accessories. Installation can be integrated inside a wall or adjacent to an existing wall, using a pocket frame fitted out with a variety of solutions, depending on the needs of the space.
New Peka Liro design line available at Nover
Available at Nover, Liro is the new offering from Peka, the company whose practical and flawlessly made furniture fittings combine an attractive appearance with unmatched quality.
Liro shelves fit with the customer’s style as they can be combined with rails for a tailor-made look. Users can choose to pair the shelves with rails made of solid oak, which are the perfect complement to wooden front panels and warm colours, or, alternatively, they can opt for glass, compact laminates, aluminium or another material. Without rails, Liro shelves ooze calm sophistication.
Gollinucci Sous-Chef collection
The new Sous-Chef collection from Gollinucci, designed by Andrea Federici, was showcased at Interzum in Cologne, Germany.
The Sous-Chef collection has a unique and stylish design aesthetic and was created to better organise the space inside and outside kitchen furniture. Utensils and ingredients can be stowed in a logical way and organised inside the cabinet while remaining immediately accessible and close at hand during food preparation.
Spin by Terno Scorrevoli
As seen last month at Interzum in Cologne, Germany, this is the new Spin system for folding doors from Terno Scorrevoli.
Spin features an extremely smooth and silent movement, with a rotating and translating movement which allows the doors to open fully, facilitating access to every corner of the compartment. Spin is also the ideal solution for corner and recessed wardrobes.
Atim Spa sliding solutions at Interzum 2023
Atim Spa showcased its new generation of sliding top solutions and furnishing solutions for a multifunctional kitchen at Interzum 2023. Recently, the Italian company launched its new generation of sliding top systems, which move smoothly using Atim’s exclusive set of aluminium runners. The new models of the Trasformabili collection, Twice Top and Corner, not only maintain the high performance standards of the line, but also considerably reduces its production costs, expanding its reach to a much wider audience.
Blum AMPEROS
The new AMPEROS by Blum enables easy electrification of furniture, allowing users to power or charge devices directly in the drawer, create atmospheric ambience or provide practical lighting.
Displayed at the recent Interzum fair in Cologne, Germany, AMPEROS was recognised with a “Best of the Best – Function & Components” at the Interzum 2023 Awards.
