Bubble Blow Bar Singapore featuring Organoid®

Designed by Studio Gin&G, this is the stunning Bubble Blow Bar in Singapore featuring the amazing Organoid® natural surfaces.

Innovative and inviting, Bubble Blow Bar operates in the busy city of Singapore so it was important that the space provide privacy, as well as become a welcoming and relaxing location for comfort and enjoyment. To underscore the equal importance of care for the body and care for the environment, much care was taken in the choice of sustainable materials for the project.

The project features three Organoid® natural surfaces: Kornblume Blau (Cornflower Blue), Wildspitze Himmelblau (Sky Blue), and Almweise (Alpine Meadow). These make up the colourful rotating elements in the shop window which provide both a privacy screen as well as reflect the playful atmosphere and invite guests to enjoy a unique experience.

Kornblume Blau is created from bright blue cornflower petals which bring to mind a bright, blue sky and express a sense of calm. The texture and colours of the petals form a unique structure that is light and inviting. Cornflowers were used traditionally as a medicinal plant and have also been known as a colourful addition to tea. The petals, when applied in multiple layers, create a fascinating bright blue colour.

Wildspitze Himmelblau showcases the same bright blue cornflower petals on a background of hand-cut Alpine hay from the Tyrolean Alps. This surface invites you to see, touch and smell the fragrant grasses and herbs from this region with the fragrance of natural hay improving the indoor climate. The biophilic design of the surface increases wellbeing and reduces stress. Organoid® sieves its hay carefully and this is a largely manual process which is subject to strict quality controls.

Almweise is a stunning arrangement of colourful flower petals on a backing of hand-cut Alpine hay which embodies the experience of a blooming, colourful Alpine meadow. The natural surface features marguerites, heather, cornflowers, sunflowers, lavender and roses to create a unique surface effect. Hay is known for its positive impact on the climate – 1kg hay binds approximately 0.45kg CO2.

The flax backing used by Organoid® is made from natural components and is certified OEKO Tex® Standard 100. It is flexible, eco-friendly, light-permeable and suited for a wide variety of applications within interior design. It is breathable, temperature regulating, unbleached and proven to be allergy friendly.

In Australia and New Zealand, Organoid® natural surfaces are exclusively distributed by Austaron Surfaces. For more information visit https://www.organoids.com/en/
