Otis washbasin by Ceramica Cielo

Otis, the new collection by Ceramica Cielo, designed by Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano, reinterprets the classic column washbasin in a contemporary and sophisticated way, redefining it with essential geometries of great sculptural strength.

The project stems from the large oval washbasin – a stylistic feature and recurring element in the work of the designer duo – which has made it a component that is both aesthetically impactful and highly functional due to the generous dimensions of the washbasin. This can be used individually, becoming a simple countertop or a suspended washbasin, or in the more structured version placed on a simple or twin freestanding column.

A distinctive element of Otis is the round or semi-circular shelves, superimposed on one side of the washbasin, available in ceramic or Iroko wood, that combined with the curved towel rail enriches the unit giving the proposal a full aesthetic and functional autonomy.

Otis is also available in the brand-new glossy shades of Talpa and Fumo, two greys with neutral yet warm tones that enrich Cielo’s already wide range of colours, offering the possibility of playing with new combinations of matt and glossy finishes.

The collection is completed with a sanitaryware set, available in both the suspended and floor-standing versions. These sets share the same structural strength and soft lines as the washbasin. Both versions are available in the range of nuances of the Terre and Acque di Cielo sanitaryware palettes and in the Talpa and Fumo finishes.
