Fisher & Paykel at Eurocucina for the first time

New Zealand appliance company Fisher & Paykel exhibited at Eurocucina for the first time in the FTK – technology for the kitchen – halls last month. As a global premium appliance company pioneering innovative and award-winning products, Fisher & Paykel had a unique story to tell for its show debut.

Fisher & PaykelFounded in New Zealand, Fisher & Paykel has changed the way people live for more than 80 years with appliance innovations like the multi award-winning DishDrawer™ Dishwasher and the CoolDrawer™ Multi-temperature Drawer which changes from a refrigerator to a freezer at the touch of a button.

Fisher & PaykelFisher & Paykel’s stand showcased a cohesive family of distributed kitchen appliances that allow designers and customers true design freedom. The product range on show at EuroCucina FTK featured premium built-in appliances including the latest 9th generation DishDrawer™ Dishwasher and a preview of the company’s new Integrated Column Refrigerator and Freezers with Variable Temperature Zone, Companion cooking products and Integrated Insert Rangehood.

Fisher & PaykelA group of Fisher & Paykel’s New Zealand senior industrial designers were at the show to share product information and visitors were able to interact with premium appliances while enjoying backdrops of sweeping New Zealand landscapes.

Fisher & Paykel’s stand was designed to bring a unique New Zealand experience to the show with hand-selected materials and signature food experiences to delight visitors and encourage interaction with the products on the stand.

Fisher & PaykelThis included Kawakawa tea served from a unique stone induction unit, toasted Manuka honey marshmallows, a Noble Riesling sherbet and gold kiwifruit syrup served over shaved ice. It formed four taste stations that embody Fisher & Paykel’s Social Kitchen philosophy where the heart of any home is where food, friends and family come together. The idea was for visitors to relax and interact with the appliances as they would in their own home.

As one of the visitors to the stand, I can attest to the deliciousness of the Manuka honey marshmallows – a personal favourite. And judging by the lines of attendees waiting to try each of the delights, I’d say this was a successful first exhibition.
